Our Work

Every garden shown on this page was designed, planted and maintained by our team in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and the surrounding villages: Eygalières, Maussane-les-Alpilles, Les Baux-de-Provence, Mouriès, Saint-Étienne-du-Grès, Tarascon and Arles. These are not catalogue pictures but real projects, delivered to owners who live here all year or who come back to their holiday home for a few weeks each season.

Our approach always starts on site. Before drawing a single pathway, we look at the exposure, the soil, the path of the mistral wind and the available water points. In the Alpilles, a successful garden is first of all a garden that survives the summer: long drought, heat reflected by stone, and official water restrictions. We therefore favour Mediterranean plants — olive trees, lavender, cistus, rosemary, agapanthus, ornamental grasses — combined with a finely tuned drip irrigation system that often halves the water use of a conventional garden.

Hard landscaping plays a major role in our projects: Provence stone terraces, traditional calades, retaining walls, outdoor steps, edging and stabilised pathways. These structures shape the space and age well, provided they are properly founded and drained. We build them ourselves, without subcontracting the masonry, which keeps the design and the execution consistent.

Tree pruning and felling complete the picture. Many Alpilles properties have umbrella pines, plane trees or centuries-old olive trees that need careful pruning, and sometimes sectional dismantling when a tree threatens a roof or a power line. Our climbing arborists work on ropes and are fully insured for this type of work.

Finally, a garden should not be judged on delivery day but three years later. That is why we offer regular maintenance — seasonal pruning, irrigation adjustments, replacement of fragile plants — and, for second homes, an exterior watch service with a photo report between stays.
