Every design starts by reading the site: exposure to the mistral, soil quality, existing water points, views to frame or to screen, and how you want to use the space (entertaining, vegetable plot, room for children, a pool). We then turn your ideas into layout plans and planting boards, before moving on to soil preparation and planting.
Our planting palette favours local, water-thrifty species: olives, Provence cypress, nettle trees and holm oaks for structure; lavender, rosemary, santolina, cistus and perovskia for the beds; grasses (stipa, festuca) and ground cover (wild thyme, achillea) for texture. Mineral mulch (limestone gravel, pozzolana) limits evaporation and fits the Provençal look.
